In celebration of the 50th anniversary of GE’s involvement in Apollo 11, we released an animated film focused on the heart-warming letter of a GE employee to her father. The video was distributed to all of GE’s employees (100,000+ people) and has been viewed by almost 2 million others.
Best of all? We beamed the audio from the film to space via a parabolic dish and 2.5 Ghz radio frequency—where it will travel, theoretically, for millions of years.
